Kevin Gibbons-O’Neill is UMBC Athletics' Assistant Athletics Director for Events and Facilities. 

Gibbons-O’Neill has been on the Retriever staff as an Assistant Athletic Director since 2005.  

Previously, Gibbons-O'Neill served as the director of the 2005 Retriever Club Golf Classic, which raised in excess of $30,000.00 for the department. The former UMBC lacrosse four-year letterwinner (1982-1985) has been a part of the radio broadcast team for Retriever lacrosse since 2000. Professionally, Gibbons-O’Neill has been a marketing executive for over 15 years in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. region.

Gibbons-O’Neill earned a B.A. degree in Economics from UMBC in 1986 and earned four letters in men's lacrosse.  He recently received an award as a 10-year adjunct coach (boys’ junior varsity assistant lacrosse coach) at the McDonough School.
