Kendall George joined UMBC in August 2025 as a Learning Specialist and Academic Advisor for Women’s Lacrosse and Swimming & Diving. In this role, Kendall provides individualized academic support, fostering self-sufficiency and developing personal accountability in student-athletes as they work toward their academic and athletic goals. She advises student-athletes on course selection and degree progress while offering one-on-one instruction to build essential learning strategies and academic independence. 

Before coming to UMBC, Kendall served as Assistant Director at the Gossett Student-Athlete Center at the University of Maryland, where she was the Learning Specialist and Academic Counselor for Football. She joined Maryland in 2020 and held previous academic support roles at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, West Virginia University, and the University of Maryland.

Kendall earned her B.S. in Sports Marketing from Duquesne University and her Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law. While in law school, she interned with the athletic compliance office at Drexel University.
