Kaitlyn Whipp joined the UMBC Sports Medicine staff in January, 2022. She will serve as the primary athletic trainer for the women’s lacrosse and women’s soccer programs.
Kaitlyn has most recently served as the assistant athletic trainer at Salisbury University, working with the 2021-22 Seagull field hockey and women’s lacrosse programs.
Her athletic training student experience took her to four other Maryland colleges and universities since 2018. In the spring of 2021, Kaitlyn worked at the St. Paul’s School, where she implemented COVID-19 protocols and testing.
She earned her B.S. degree in athletic training at Towson University in the spring of 2021 and started to work on an M.S. program in exercise science and health promotion at California (Pa.) University.
