Biography
BACKGROUND
- Earned gold in the NYSPHSAA Track and Field Championships in the 400m dash and IN THE 4x100 with twin sister Shyanne in the spring of 2022
- Led the Bulldogs to the league title in 2022 and 14 athletes qualified for the state championships
- A member of the National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Music Honor Society and graduated top 10% of her class
- Transferred to UMBC after one year at URI
- Plans to major in biological sciences and minor in emergency health services
- Played the viola in the high school orchestra
- An avid reader who lists her favorite book as The Color Purple
- Has an older brother Donovan and sister Shyanne
- Daughter of Sandra and Donovan Sibblies
- Both parents and siblings have competed or are competing in intercollegiate track and field – Shyanne attends St. John’s, Donovan, Jr. competed at Buffalo State, while Sandra (NYIT) and Donovan, Sr. (St. John’s) also lettered in college                    Â
