- Earned second place in the shot put at the 2019 Maryland State Championships
- Has only been competing in the throws since her time at Watkins Mill
- An honor roll student throughout her high school tenure
- Chose UMBC “because I was looking for a sense of community to be a part of and a place where I would feel comfortable furthering my education.”
- Considering a major in psychology
- Enjoys singing and lists her favorite pro team as the NBA’s Golden State Warriors
- Daughter of Gloria and Emmanuel Nwankwo, Sr. and has a brother, Emmanuel, Jr., who competes in track and field at the prep level
