Biography

2022 Outdoor: Had a strong season on the track and in the field for the Retrievers… Set a season-best in the high jump at the Weems Baskin Relays clearing a height of 1.58m… Set a pair of season-bests at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational in the long jump (5.17m) and the 400m (59.68)... Had her best time in the 400m hurdles at the America East Championships with a time of 1:03.11 in the finals.

2021-22 Indoor: Competed mostly in the high jump during the indoor season… Had her best jump of the season at the Navy Invitational at 1.57m… Also ran in the 400m during the indoor season with her best time of 59.20 coming at the Fastrack National Invite in early February.

2021 Outdoor: Did not compete.
 

BACKGROUND DATA
  • Contributed in multiple events to the 2019 state champions at Frederick Douglass
  • Ran PR’s in 400 meters and 400 hurdles at an AAU meet in Florida
  • The honor roll student also lettered in soccer and basketball for the Eagles
  • Chose UMBC “because it was close to home, but not too close, a nice campus and Coach Bobb seemed very welcoming.”

  • Enjoys drawing and lists her favorite book as Rich Dad, Poor Dad
  • Daughter of Robin and Terrence Winston; sister Summer competed in track & field at Eastern (Pa.) University
