2013: Named to the America East Conference Women’s Tennis Second Team in singles… Posted an impressive 11-3 mark during the 2013 regular season at the No. 4 position…Finished with a doubles record of 3-0 against conference opponents and registered a doubles record of 4-1 in the month of April… Recorded a key singles victory against Binghamton University (6-2,6-4) on “Senior Day”… Added a doubles win against the University of Albany (8-4) in semifinals action.

2012: Selected as the program’s Most Improved Athlete and earned a student-chosen “Gritty Award” for “Breakthrough Athlete of the Year”… Compiled a singles record of 19-10 and had a nine-match winning streak snapped in the America East Championship match… Solidified the No. 6 singles slot, but did go 3-0 when playing at Nos. 4 or 5… Named America East Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week on March 27 after winning five of six matches during the prior week… Combined with Shalini Sahoo to win 17 doubles matches at the No. 2 position, including a win in the aforementioned championship contest.

2011: Played at No.3 with teammate and countrywoman Heidi Danielsson to capture a 3-5 doubles record … Posted a 7-9 singles at the No. 6 position.

Background: Majoring in financial economics... Competed in one international match for Sweden… Has been ranked as high as No. 3 for her age ground in her native country… Excels in doubles with three golds, three silvers and three bronzes in Swedish championship competition from 2003-2010… Earned the Erik Ahls Award in 2006… Considering financial economics as her major… Lists favorite food as tacos… Daughter of Katarina Stange-Sunesson and Birger Jonsson… Born Aug. 1, 1991.
