BACKGROUND
  • A four-time finalist at the 2023 New Mexico State Short Course Championships
  • Earned bronze in the 100 breaststroke at that March 2, 2023 meet
  • A two-year team captain and Most Valuable Athlete for the Bulldogs in her junior and senior years
  • Her club team (Beast Aquatic Club) won the 2022 Short Course State title
  • Vice President of Albuquerque’s National Honor Society
  • Considering a major in mechanical engineering  
  • Lists her favorite pro teams as the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Orioles
  • Enjoys kayaking, hiking and backpacking and plays the cello
  • Her aunt, Betsy Kohlhepp, played volleyball at UMBC from 1982-84
  • Daughter of Katherine and Max Parrill and has a younger brother, Orsen
