Biography
2021-22:
- Earned bronze in the 400 IM (UMBC’s top finisher) with a personal best mark of 4:28.22
- Also scored in that meet in the 200 butterfly
- Captured fourth place in 400 IM and seventh in 200 butterfly at ECAC Winter Championships
- Won the 400 IM vs. VMI
- Earned a silver in the 100 fly in the second meet of the year at Navy
2019-20:
- Earned a place in the finals for the 100 butterfly at the 2020 America East Championships
- Set personal bests in all three events she competed in – both fly events and the 400 IM
- Swam a season-best in the 200 IM while finishing fourth overall in the regular season finale versus East Carolina
- Finished second in the 100 breaststroke in the early January victory over Howard
BACKGROUND:
· Holds Lane Tech high school women’s swim team record in the 100 fly
· Helped her high school swim team win the city championship for three years in a row
· Qualified for the Illinois high school state swim meet
· Competes in butterfly and backstroke events
PERSONAL:
· Daughter of Kim and Curt Holderfield
· Has on younger brother, Drew
· Her favorite food is grilled cheese
· A fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and the movie Footloose
