Biography

2021-22:

  • Placed fifth in the 400 IM with a personal best time of 4:29.77 at the America East Championships 
  • Earned a sixth-place finish in the same event at ECAC Winter Championships 
  • Placed seventh overall in the 1650 freestyle at ECAC’s
  • Produced a third-place finish in the 1000 free at William & Mary 

2020-21:

  • Cruised to victory in the 500 freestyle at VMI and placed third in the 200 free
  • Placed fifth in the 400 IM at the America East Championships

2019-20:

  • Improved three spots and finished a strong fifth in the 400 individual medley at the 2020 America East Championships
  • Also competed in the 1650 free (9th) and 500 free (10th) in Worcester
  • Placed third in the 200 IM versus East Carolina
  • Earned bronze in the 1000 free at George Mason
  • Won the 200 IM versus Howard

BACKGROUND:

·         Was a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Latin Honor Society

·         Finished in the top 10% of her high schools graduating class

·         Competes in distance events such as the 500 freestyle

PERSONAL:

·         Daughter of John and Connie Cadigan

·         Has four older siblings, Tim, Mary, Billy, and Michael

·         Considering a major in biological sciences

·         Her favorite food is potatoes and she loves the movie The Proposal
