Biography

2016-17: Swam a personal best in the 100 breast at the America East Championships, touching in with a time of 1:12.12… Also had a season-best mark in the 50 free with a time of 25.59... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2015-16: Had three season best times at the America East Championships in the 50, 100 and 200 frees... She finished the 50 free in a time of 25.42, while touching the wall in 2:03.28 in the 200 free... Finished her championships with a time of 56.50 in the 100 free.

2014-15: Turned in her best times of the season at the America East Championships... Posted a time of 25.77 in the 50 free, down one second from her previous best, and making that time the best of her career... Turned in a time of 2:02.63 in the 200 free and a 56.70 in the 100 free.

2013-14: Swam season-best times in the 50- (25.98), 100- (56.83) and 200-yd. free (2:03.60) events at the America East Championships... Achieved her season-best time in the 100 breast (1:17.06) against East Carolina/Catawba on Jan. 25 in North Carolina… Received her highest college dual meet finishes during UMBC’s meet against Howard on Jan. 11, placing fifth in both the 50 and 100 free races… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Background: Competed for the Retriever Aquatic Club under coach Chris Gibeau.

Personal: Daughter of John and Connie Latzko… Has one younger sister, Anna… Plans to major in computer engineering… Born June 8, 1995.
