Biography

2017-18: Posted three personal-best times at the America East Championships… Swam the 100 free in a time of 53.36… Also competed in the 200 free, clocking in with a time of 1:55.94… In the 200 IM, touched the wall in a time of 2:10.93… America East Presidential Scholar-Athlete.

2016-17: Set a new career-best at the America East Championships in the 100 free with a time of 53.90, a second off the career best time set the previous season… Swam season bests in the 200 free with a time of 1:56.39... Named to America East Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

2015-16: Recorded season best times at the 2016 America East Championships in Worcester, Mass.... Finished the 100 free just a second off her career best time in 54.95 at WPI... Finished the 100 back with a time of 59.57 and a time of 25.38 in the 50 free at the championships, all season bests. 

2014-15: Posted season best times in the 50 free, 200 free and 100 free at the America East Championships... Recorded a time of 24.83 in the 50 free, while touching the wall in 1:58.99 in the 200 free in Worcester... Shaved two seconds off her previous best time in the 100 free, going 53.84 in the event at the championships.

Background: Earned Rookie of the Year honors her freshman season… Named MVP her final three seasons, as well as Athlete of the Year her final season… Her 200 free relay team finished seventh at the State Championships… Was a member of the Honor Roll and National Honor Society in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Diane and John Meka… Has three sisters, Jen, Katie and Emily, and two brothers Johnny and Thomas… Not decided on a major… Born April 2, 1996.
