Biography

2021-22:

  • Captured the one-meter diving competition vs. VMI
  • Placed second on the three-meter board at Seton Hall, her one-meter effort of 210.22 waa a personal best  
  • Recorded a personal best mark of 211.70 on the three-meter board at ECAC Winter Championships

2020-21:

  • Cruised to victory on the 1-meter board (177.95) at VMI

2019-20: 

  • Produced an outstanding meet at George Mason, placing second on the 1M board (season-high 194.78) and third on the 3M board (181.43)
  • Earned second place on the higher board versus VMI, amassing a season-best 184.65 points
  • Placed third (1M, 186.70) and fourth (3M, 173.45) in an early season meet versus Delaware and Johns Hopkins

BACKGROUND:

·         Took part of her high school literary magazine

·         Has been in the sport of diving for the past 10 years

·         Prefers to dive on the 1 meter board

PERSONAL:

·         Daughter of Janey and Tommy Bruington

·         Has on older brother, Jacob

·         Plans to study psychology and is interested in a career as a forensic psychologist

·         A fan of ice cream, Its Such A Beautiful Day, and The Amazing Spiderman
