2018: Appeared in 14 games, starting in six… Registered 12 points off 11 goals and one assist… Scored a career-high three goals against VCU… Had multi-goal performances against LIU Brooklyn and UMass Lowell… Caused a turnover against Longwood and Vermont… Scooped up seven ground balls, including three against American… Received ECAC Spring President’s Honor Roll honors.
2017: Appeared in five games for the season… Made her UMBC debut at VCU, where she scored one goal… Recorded one draw control and one caused turnover against the Rams… Notched two shots on goal against VCU.
PRIOR TO UMBC: Spent two season at the University of Colorado ... Scored eight goals and one assist to go with five ground balls in two seasons as a reserve attack for the Buffs ... Had a hat trick in her first collegiate appearance in a 19-0 win over Presbyterian in 2015.
HIGH SCHOOL: Oliver received three letters in lacrosse at St. Mary’s, playing on the attack. She was also a forward on the field hockey team, earning two letters and receiving the Coach’s Award as a senior. She played for the Maryland United Lacrosse Club (2014 East) from 2008-13). Oliver was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. She earned the Ronald Reagan Leadership Award as a junior and the C. Markland Kelly Jr. Award for Athletic Service as a senior.
PERSONAL: Taylor Christie Oliver was born on December 28, 1995, to parents Frank Oliver, Jr. and Allison Oliver. Her father works for the federal government and her mother is a commercial real estate broker. Her father played football at Salisbury. After graduation, Oliver hopes to work as a physician's assistant, shock trauma nurse or in medical equipment sales. She was a nanny to twins with special needs. She enjoys reading, spending time with friends, exercising and swimming. Her favorite foods are sugar cookies with icing and chocolate ice cream. Her favorite team is the Baltimore Ravens, and her favorite athlete is Alex Morgan.
