Biography

2021 (SENIOR):

  • Started in every game of the season.
  • Picked up seven ground balls and forced three turnovers on the year.
  • Had an assist in the Retrievers’ win at Binghamton (3/27).
  • Picked up a season-high three ground balls in the win against the Bearcats on April 24. 
  • Caused a turnover against Town, UAlbany, and Binghamton.

2020 (JUNIOR):

  • Started in all six games of the year.
  • Scooped up four ground balls on the season.
  • Picked up a season-high two ground balls against and forced two turnovers against VCU.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): 

  • Appeared in 16 games this season.

  • Recorded one goal on the year and picked up two ground balls in UMBC’s 16-1 victory over Hartford.

  • Also had an assist against Bucknell.

  • Had one ground ball in five games (Mount St. Mary’s, Drexel, Bucknell, UNH, UMass Lowell).

2018: 

  • Saw action in seven games.
  • Recorded her first hat trick in UMBC’s victory over Hartford.
  • Scooped up a ground ball and caused a turnover against Albany.
  • Named America East Rookie of the Week (4/30).
  • Made her collegiate debut at Maryland.

BACKGROUND:

  • Played varsity lacrosse at Middletown under head coach Tyler White.
  • Was a team captain her senior year.
  • Earned the team's Coaches Award in 2017.
  • Named First Team All Gambrill Division in 2016 and 2017.
  • Also earned First Team All-Division Central Maryland Conference.
  • Also lettered in field hockey, where she participated in the Frederick County All-Star Game as a senior.
  • Earned Scholar-Athlete all four years of high school.
  • Member of National Honor Society.
  • Had multiple championships wins with Frederick Stars Lacrosse.
  • Also played for Renegades Lacrosse.

PERSONAL:

  • Daughter of Rich and Renee Walchuck.
  • Has two brothers, Matthew and Ryan.
  • Brother Matthew swam at St. Mary's College of Maryland.
  • Majoring in psychology.
