Biography

 

2002: Was the Retrievers' starting goalkeeper, playing every minute of every game, and making 145 saves for an 8.53 save average and a .469 save percentage.

 

2001: Played ten games in a backup role...Registered a .512 save percentage last season in 192 minutes of action...Is adept at challenging offensive players outside of the crease.

 

2000: Backed up Amy Jagoda last season and saw action in three games...Played the entire second half vs. Central Connecticut, but did not face a shot on goal...Made a pair of saves, while allowing one goal vs. Denver.

 

BACKGROUND: An All County goalkeeper on a strong Dulaney team...Helped her team to a berth in the state semi-finals...Her best career effort was a 16-save performance vs.always-tough Mt. de Sales ..Came to UMBC because “I have loved everything about (UMBC) since the first day I saw it”...Hobbies include photography and art...Daughter of Lea Ann and Gavin Stringer...Brother, Gavin, also played lacrosse for the UMBC program… Born on April 2, 1981… Majoring in Elementary Education.
