Biography

FALL 2021: Ran in five of the six meets for the Retrievers during the fall 2021 season, scoring in two of those meets… She scored at the Princeton Invite with a time of 25:30.6 and at the America East Championships with a time of 18:57.58… Also ran at the Mount 5K Duals (21:28.50), Paul Short Invite (24:19.0), and NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional (25:14.4).

2021: Competed at the lone meet of the year, the America East Championships finishing in a time of 20:19.40.

2019: Competed in five events for the Retrievers... Finished in a season best 19:23.72 at the America East Championships... Also finished in 21:33.22 at the Mount 5k Duals.

2018: Ran in two races for the Retrievers… Finished the Mount 5k Duals in a time of 21:25.01 and the Salty Dog Invite in 26:49.95.

Background: Earned 2018 All-County First Team honors in both indoor and outdoor track From The Frederick News-Post… Placed fourth at the 2016 MPSSAA 3A Outdoor State Championships in the 800 meters… Competed at the 2018 Penn Relays in the 4 x 800… Also lettered for four years in soccer and earned All-County Second Team honors in 2016 and 2017… Member of the National Honor Society and earned MPSSAA Academic-Athlete Award for competing in all 12 high school seaons… Considering a major in biochemistry and a career in anesthesiology… Lists favorite movie as Eat, Pray, Love and favorite food as falafels… Has a younger sister, Joelle… Daughter of Neuza Monteiro and Pascal Kimbembe.
