FALL 2021: Competed in and scored in all six meets for the Retrievers during the fall 2021 season… Turned in her best time of the year at the America East Championships with a time of 18:46.15… Started the year at the Mount 5K Duals with a time of 21:09.78 before turning in a time of 24:49.93 at the Navy Invite… Also scored at the Paul Short Invite (23:53.0), Princeton Invite (24:52.5), and NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional (23:32.4).

2021: Scored in the lone meet for the Retrievers taking 32nd at the America East Championships in a time of 19:26.69.

2019: Raced in all six meets for UMBC... Scored in five... Top finisher in the America East Championships for the Retrievers with a time of 18:09.52... Finished in 19:21.22 at the Mount... Also finished in 22:12.9 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, 22:43.2 at Princeton and 24:03.82 at Navy.

2018: Ran in three races for the Retrievers… Scored at the Mount 5k Duals with a time of 20:31.77… Ran a season best 24:47 at the Paul Short Invite.

Background: Akron’s cross country Most Valuable Athlete in 2014, 2016 and 2017 and track’s MVA in 2015 and 2018… Niagara Orleans League First Team member in cross country from 2012-2017… The Tigers’ school-record holder in the steeplechase and as part of the sprint medley, distance medley and 4 x 800 meter relay quartets… Placed 12th in 2013 Class C state cross country meet at the age of 13 (eighth grade)… Also lettered in basketball… A Buffalo News Western New York Scholar-Athlete in all three seasons as a senior… Akron’s Class of 2018 salutatorian…  Considering majors in political science and/or economics… Enjoys taking her cat for walks and knitting… Likes corn and oreo cookies…Has two older brothers, Louis and Spencer, and one older sister, Gina... All four competed in track in high school, while Gina competed in cross country and track at Lake Erie College… Daughter of Lois and Peter Henley.
