Accolades: (2017-18) Earned America East Fall Academic Honor Roll accolades and presented at UMBC’s 22nd Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement Day... (2016-17) Earned America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll status… Inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society (Chi Alpha Sigma)… Presented at UMBC’s 21st Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement Day (2014-15) Earned America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll status.
2017: Saw action in the first three meets of the year.
2016: Saw action in the first two meets of the season, completing the races at Emmitsburg and Annapolis.
2015: Competed in three meets... Kicked off the year at the Mount 5k Duals, finishing the race in a time of 21:36... Ran the next week at the Wolfie Invite, finishing the 6k course with a season best time of 23:14... Competed at the Gettysburg Invitational, finishing the race in 26:00.
2014: Competed in two meets her freshman campaign... Placed 43rd at the Mount 5K Duals with a time of 19:40... Posted a time of 25:10 at the Salty Dog Invitational in September.
Background: Placed in the Southern Maryland Athletic Conference 2A Regionals and Maryland 2A State Championships all four years at Calvert High School… The Maryland 2A regional champion in the mile her junior season… Helped her team win the 2A state championship in cross country in her sophomore campaign… The president of the National Honor Society and the Foreign Adventures Club, and an AP Scholar with Distinction.
Personal: Daughter of Billy Joe Campbell and Brandon Aris… Has two younger brothers, Ben and Liam… Majoring in chemical engineering.
