Accolades: (2017-18 ) Earned America East Fall Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll accolades... (2016-17) Earned America East Fall Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll status.
2019: Competed and scored in all five meets for UMBC... Was the team's top finisher at the Princeton Invite with a time of 22:42.3... Also scored at the Mount (19:56.30), Navy (23:51.24), the America East Championships (18:27.33), and NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional (22:48.2).
2018: Scored in all six meets for the Retrievers… Posted a season-best 24:08 at the Paul Short Invite… Followed that up with a 24:12.1 time at the Princeton Invite… Ran a 24:43.43 at the Salty Dog Invite and 20:25.14 at the Mount 5k Duals.
2017: Selected as the team’s Most Valuable Athlete… Scored in all five meets and led the team in the Salty Dog Invitational and the America East Championships… The sophomore finished 26th of 92 competitors at the meet in Annapolis.
2016: UMBC’s top-performing freshman… Competed in all six meets, scored on three occasions as UMBC’s No. 5 finisher each time.
Background: The 2016 Athlete of the Year at Pennsauken High School… Set school records in both the 800 and 1600 meters and was the 2016 Sectional Group 3 champion… Earned First Team All-Conference multiple years… Named Emerging Elite Champions for 4 x 400 meter relay at 2015 New Balance Nationals (N.C.)… Earned four varsity letters in both track and field and basketball… Scored 963 points on the hardwood for the Indians… Served as class president in 2015-16 and is a member of the National Honor Society… Interested in a career in graphic design… Older sister, Dominique, competed in basketball and track & field at Rutgers-Newark… Lists favorite food as yams/sweet potatoes… Enjoys drawing, reading and photography… Daughter of Karen and LaMar Roberts.
