2017: Made 30 appearances, with 18 starts on the year... Pitched to a 9-9 record, two saves, and a 3.03 ERA... Threw two complete games and 99.1 innings... Ranked in the top 5 in the America East in eight different categories, including first in ERA (3.03)... Lead the team in appearances (30), wins, ERA, and strikeouts (65)... Threw five innings, giving up only four hits to earn the win against The Shore (March 11)... Threw three innings of relief, not giving up a hit to earn the save against Coppin State (March 23)... Threw a complete game shutout with no walks and a season high nine strikeouts to earn the win against Stony Brook (April 8)... Threw a complete game shutout against The Shore, only giving up four hits and registering nine strikeouts (April 12).

2016: Started 13 games on the mound with 89.1 innings pitched…. Posted an 8-6 record with a team best 3.13 earned run average… Two-time America East Pitcher of the Week (March 8 and April 26)… Named UMBC Athlete of the Week (April 26)… Ranked in the top-10 of the America East in 19 categories… Ranked third in opposing batting average (.257) and runs allowed (50)… Ranked fourth in earned run average (3.13) and hits allowed (91)… Improved from her rookie campaign in total wins (8), complete games (10), innings pitched (89.1), hits allowed (91), strikeouts (52), and earned run average (3.13)… Recorded her first win of the season with a complete game versus Nicholls St. (Feb 20)… Fanned ten batters against Howard (March 9)… Registered a complete game shut out in a 2-0 win versus Lehigh (April 23)… Recorded a complete game shutout victory over Hartford in the America East Tournament (May 11)… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll

2015: Finished in the top-10 in the league in earned run average (3.52) and strikeouts (51)… Made 19 appearances and made 11 starts in the circle… Posted a 4-5 record with a 3.52 earned run average… Ranked second on the team in innings pitched (77.2) and strikeouts (51)… Did not surrender an earned run and struck out six batters in seven innings of work versus Lafayette (March 18)… Fanned seven batters en route to earning the first win of her collegiate career in game two against UMES (March 25)… Posted her third straight victory versus UMass Lowell (April 3), surrendering one run and striking out 10 batters… Tossed four innings of relief to earn the win versus South Carolina State (April 17)… Threw 1.1 innings of relief versus Towson (April 23)… Tossed 3.2 innings of scoreless work against Binghamton (April 25)... Named to the America East Honor Roll.

BACKGROUND: A three-year letterwinner of the Sparta High School softball team, a squad that has consistently been a state playoff participant… Named to the All-NJAC First Team her senior season… Named Player of the Week during the 2012 campaign by the New Jersey Herald… Compiled a 43-8 record, while striking out 425 batters in 344 innings with a 1.33 ERA as a pitcher for the New Jersey Rampage club team… A member of the National Russian Language Honor Society… A high honor roll student… Daughter of Anthony and Melinda Puccio… The middle sibling of Lindsay and Michael… Major is Financial Economics with a Minor in Korean and International Economics... Spent the summer of 2016 studying International Finance at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
