2017: Played in 52 games for the Retrievers... Had a .323 slugging percentage with 10 extra base hits... Ranked third on the team in at bats (158) and tied for third in doubles (8)... Had a .967 fielding percentage while turning 14 double plays on the season.... Had 10 multi-hit games... Registered three hits, a run scored, and a RBI against UMKC (Feb. 12)... Registed three hits, three runs scored, two RBI, and a home run in a doubleheader against Rider (March 12)... Had two hits, two run scored, and a double against Coppin State (March 23)... Had a home run and two RBI in a win over Hartford (May 6).

2016: Made 55 appearances at second base… Had a .304 slugging percentage with nine extra base hits… Ranked third on the team in games played (55) and sacrifice bunts (6)... Hit a career-high seven doubles… Turned 13 double plays on the season… Recorded eight multi-hit games… Went two-for-two with a home run at Towson (March 1)… Doubled twice versus Brown (March 30)… Had two hits from the dish in a 2-0 win at Lehigh (April 23)… Registered four hits including a home run and double in a doubleheader sweep over Norfolk St. (April 27)…  Named to the UMBC Honor Roll

2015: Made 18 appearances and 10 starts… Hit at a .226 clip with a .355 slugging percentage… Batted .556 when leading off an inning… Drilled a double against Georgetown (Feb. 13)… Launched a pinch-hit homer versus South Carolina State (April 17)... Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2014: Started in 42 games and made 51 appearances in her rookie campaign with the Retrievers… Batted .258 with 33 hits and 19 runs batted in… Registered seven extra-base hits and finished the year with a .352 slugging percentage… Blasted a two-run home run for her first collegiate hit to lift UMBC past UNC-Wilmington (Feb. 15) in the Retrievers’ season-opener… Reached base safely in all three at-bats against Norfolk State (Feb. 16)… Earned America East Rookie of the Week honors on Feb. 18 after hitting .545 with a .909 slugging percentage at the Seahawk Invitational… Registered a single and a triple to drive in two runs against Iona (Feb. 22)… Tallied three hits versus Norfolk State (March 2)… Registered a four-hit game, tallying four singles against Rhode Island (March 14)… Posted the second home run of her career versus Hampton (March 16) and finished with three runs batted in… Drove in three runs on two hits against Saint Peter’s… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

BACKGROUND: Played high school softball for Eastern Camden Regional… Tied the program’s single-season home run (five) and RBI (44) records… An All-Conference Second Team selection in 2013… Received the team’s MVP Award and Defensive MVP Award following her senior season… Helped the team to state championships in 2010 and 2012… The Vikings’ most improved player in 2010… Earned two letters for soccer at Eastern Camden Regional… A member of the Newtown Rock Gold… Parents are Jeanmarie and Perry Buckley… One of two siblings, Perry Buckley… Major is psychology.
