Matt Lubaszewski

Matt was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was raised in Linthicum, Maryland. Prior to his current position with the softball team, he spent two years as the varsity head baseball coach at Paint Branch High School, in Montgomery County, MD.  In his earlier coaching career he was head coach of the freshman team at Good Counsel High School and had logged eight years as the head baseball coach for the CHEN Chargers High School Varsity Baseball Team. Matt is also the founder of the Baltimore Blue Crabs baseball travel organization.

Matt is currently the Vice President of Operations at BASES training facility where he oversees the instructor staff and helps with the daily running of the training facility. Prior to being named the VP of Operations, Matt served as an instructor at BASES for 10+ years. In those 10+ years, Matt logged over 5,000 lessons given in Hitting, Fielding and Catching for players of all ages. Matt has also run the summer camp program at BASES for over 13 years.

Matt was a certified Emergency Medical Technician for over 12 years. During that time he volunteered at Arbutus Volunteer Fire
Department. Matt also served as an Associate Scout with the Baltimore Orioles from 2015 through 2018.
