Biography

AT IONA (2010): Played in 34 games and made 18 starts as a freshman for the Gaels, batting .185 with 10 hits, 11 runs scored and four stolen bases… Helped Iona win the MAAC championship and earn a berth in the NCAA Regionals. 

 

BACKGROUND: Selected to the Carroll County All-Decade Team… A four-time all-conference honoree, including first team in each of her last three seasons at Westminster High School… An honor roll student… Chose UMBC over Hartford and Fordham… Daughter of Rusty and Cindy Metcalfe… Father played baseball at UMBC… Has a brother, Jesse… Born Dec. 27, 1990… Major is undecided… Aspires to become a doctor.
