Biography

2012 Outdoor: Finished 11th and 17th, respectively, in the 10,000m and 5,000m at the conference meet in Maine... Ran a season-best time of 31:06.10 and finished fourth in the 10,000m run at the Duke Invitational.

2011-12 Indoor: Placed tenth in the 3,000m run at the America East Championships with a personal-best time of 8:32.00 which ranks as the seventh-fastest in UMBC history... Also finished 13th in the 5,000m run in a time of 15:02.99, the sixth-fastest run in school history.

2011 Outdoor: Set new personal best performances in the 3,000m, 5,000m, and 10,000m runs... Finished twelvth overall, 32:48.94, in the 10,000m run at the America East Championships... Finished eigth overall, 8:37.04, in the 3,000m run at the Maryland Invitational... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2010-11 Indoor: Won the 1-mile run with a time of 4:26.56 at the Bison Opener… Finished second in the 3,000m run, 8:49.89 at the 10th Annual Gulden Relays.

2009-10 Indoor: Ran a season-best 3,000-meter run in 8:48.94 at the New Balance Invitational… Finished fifth in the 1-mile run in 4:24.76 at the George Mason Patriot Games… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

 

Background: Earned 2008-09 All-Anne Arundel County honors in cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field from The Capital… Also lettered in baseball and golf at Severna Park High School in Severna Park, Md…. Named to the Honor Roll every semester at Severna Park.
