Biography

2012 Outdoor: Set a season-best in the 400m, 53.06, at the Morgan State Legacy Meet... Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2011-12 Indoor: Recorded the second-fastest time on the team in the 500m, 1:09.01, while competing at the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games... Ran a season-best in the 400m, 53.74, at the Terrapin Invitational.

2011 Outdoor: Finished 24th overall, 52.63, in the 400m dash at the America East Championships.

2010-11 Indoor: Recorded a new personal-est time, 51.75, in the 400m dash at the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games Invite… Set a new personal-best time, 1:29.40, in the 600m run at the Terrapin Indoor Invitational… Finished sixth overall in the 500m dash at the Patriot Games.

2009-10 Indoor: Set a season-best time in the 500-meter dash in 1:07.73 at the New York Armory… Also competed in the 400-meter dash (52.13) at the Rider/Lafayette Winter Games and the 800-meter run (2:04.87) at the Bison Opener.

 

Background: Transferred to UMBC from Medgar Evers College... Won the city championship in the 800m run in 2009… Was selected to the All-Star team that represents the public schools at the State Championship as a senior… Also ran the 4x800 relay in high school, and his team recorded a time of 8:02 in 2009… Was selected to run in the high school section at a professional track meet.
 
Personal: Son of Tasha Jones and Malik Myers… Has two brothers Malik and Jabarie… Started running track when he was 14… Born  July 19, 1990.
