Biography

2016 Outdoor: Competed in the long jump and javelin during the outdoor season, earning a sixth place finish in the long jump at the America East Championships with a jump of 6.61m... His best javelin toss also came at the conference meet with a throw of 46.69m.

2015-16 Indoor: Competed in multiple events during his final indoor season, including a score of 3,345 in the heptathlon at the Penn State National Invite... Also competed in the long jump, with his best jump coming at the America East Championships with a jump of 6.79m, good for fourth place.

2015 Outdoor: Competed in the long jump during the spring season for UMBC... Recorded his best jump at the opening Big Dawg Invitational at UMBC Stadium... He finished the event with his best jump coming at 6.57m (21'6.75").

2014-15 Indoor: Competed in the long and triple jump during the winter for the Retrievers... Recorded his best jump in the long jump at the Patriot Games with a jump of 6.39m (20'11.75")... Finished 13th in the triple jump at the America East Championships with a jump of 12.18m (39'11.5"), his best of the season.

2014 Outdoor: Placed 13th in both the long jump and the triple jump at the 2014 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships… Posted a season-best leap of 12.59m (41’3.75”) in the triple jump at the conference meet at Vermont… Recorded his best long jump of the year, 6.76m (22’2.25”) while finishing fourth in the event at the 2014 Big Dawg Invitational at UMBC Stadium.

2013-14 Indoor: Competed in multiple field events during the winter season, placing seventh in the long jump and 15th in the triple jump at the 2014 America East Indoor Track and Field Championships in New York… Registered a top indoor long jump of 6.79m (22’3.5”) at the conference meet at The Armory… Notched his top triple jump of 13.02m (42’8.75”) at the Rider/Lafayette Winter Games.

Background: Helped Mount Hebron win its second straight Howard County championship as a freshman… Also lettered in football and basketball for the Vikings… A four-year member of the honor roll… Also received the state Minds in Motion award.

Personal: Son of Mark and Debbie Glaze… Has one older brother, Alex… Plans to major in business technology information and receive a minor in visual arts… Born June 13, 1994.
