Biography

2011 Outdoor: Placed eight overall in the shot put at the Maryland Invitational with a toss of 13.07m (42'10.75")... Finished 11th overall in the shot put at the America East Championships with a heave of 13.14m (43'1.5")... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

 

2010-11 Indoor: Finished ninth (12.86m, 42'2.25) in the shot put at the 10th Annual Gulden Relays… Finished thirteenth overall (11.76m, 38'7") in the weight throw at the 10th Anuual Gulden Relays... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

  

 

2009-10 Indoor: Set career-best marks in the shot put (13.54m, 44'5.25") and the weight throw (13.08m, 42'11")) at the America East Championships… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

 

 

2009 Outdoor: Placed 14th in the shot put at the America East Championships with a throw of 11.70m (38'4.75")… Had a season-best throw of 12.22m (40'1.25") at the Virginia Invitational… Had a season-best throw in the discus of 40.32m (132'3") at the Bucknell Team Challenge.

2008-09 Indoor: Threw a season-best mark of 13.14m (43'1.5") in the shot put at the Patriot Games… Also hit a season-best mark in the weight throw of 10.26m at the same meet.

Background: Placed fourth in the 2008 indoor 4A/3A State Championships… Placed fifth in shot put at the 2007 3A state meet… Placed third in the discus and sixth in the shot put at the 2007 outdoor championships.

 Son of Edward and Tonsia Mayne… Has two sisters, Emma and Katie... Majoring in engineering.
