Biography

Spring 2015: Produced another solid season, with a 9-5 mark in singles and an 8-6 recvord in doubles… Recorded a six-match winning streak before falling in a tough three-setter vs. Wichita State in the MVAC semifinals… Competed in five, three-set matches, posting a mark of 3-2.

 

Fall 2014: Defeated GMU’s Nick Barker 7-6 (6), 6-3 and crushed Mount St. Marys’ Louis Tonon, 6-0, 6-1 in the 5 flight at the George Mason Invitational… Also combined with Jaan Kononov to sweep all three doubles matches …  Combined with Kamal Patel to cruise past Delaware’s Matt Renzi/Shane Jaffray, 8-2, at the No. 2 doubles position and overwhelmed Navy’s Aries Wong fat No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-1 at the Navy Invitational... Triumphed in straight sets over George Mason's Tanner Baine, 6-2, 6-3 at the ITA All-American Championships.

 

2014: Recorded a four-match winning streak against James Madison, Bucknell, Howard and George Mason… Named AE Men’s Tennis Player of the Week on March 4… Clinched match against Howard with a 6-0, 6-1 victory and secured UMBC victory versus JMU with a comeback triumph, 6-7, 7-6, 6-1… Posted a total of 18 match victories. 

 

2013: Finished the spring season with a singles record of 3-4… Posted a 3-2 singles record while playing in the No. 6 spot… Registered a doubles mark of 4-8… Captured a big three-set win against St. Joseph’s University on March 1.



Background: Majoring in financial economics… Lists favorite movie as Match Point and favorite food as risotto… Also a big fan of the Olympic Games… Has a younger brother, Stanislas… Son of Elisabeth and Philippe Loubatié.
