• Swam a personal best time and placed fourth in the 100 breaststroke at the ECAC Winter Championships
• Posted the Retrievers’ third-best time in the 200 IM versus Navy

BACKGROUND

• Selected as team captain for Cardinal Gibbons High School

• Earned USA Swimming Scholastic All American, and All State honors.  

• Holds the school record in the individual medley. 

• Named Most Determined and Unsung Hero at Cardinal Gibbons 

• Swam a 2:21.21 in the 200 breaststroke LCM at Futures in Alabama

• Helped his team win the Futures Championship in 2019 

• Also considered FSU and Pitt but selected UMBC “because the team atmosphere was so much better than all of the other schools I considered” 

• A fan of the Seattle Seahawks, Wolf of Wall Street, and favorite food is french fries

• Son of Bethany and Ed Perkins
