Biography
2019-20:
- Competed in both breaststroke events and the 100 freestyle at the 2020 America East Championships
- Registered season-best times in all three events
- Top finish in dual meet competition was a seventh-place effort versus Howard in the 100 breaststroke
BACKGROUND:
Two-time First Team All County honoree
A member of his high school’s 400 freestyle relay that broke the county record
Helped the Hawks place second at state championships
Was a member of the Science National Honor Society as well as an IB scholar and IB Diploma Candidate
PERSONAL:
Son of Marlene and Will Garcia
Has one younger sister, Yael
Is currently studying on a pre-physical therapy track with hopes to become either a physical therapist or a physical trainer
Is an accomplished piano player who placed second in consecutive competitions
