2013-14: Recorded a career-best 400-yd. IM timeof 3:59.20, the fifth-fastest in school history, during the prelimsof the event at the CCSA Championships in Tennessee… Placedfifth in the night time finals… Also competed in the 500-(4:34.90) and 1,650-yd. freestyle (15:56.96) events at theconference championships meet in Knoxville, finishing eighth in themile swim and tenth in the 500… The Retrievers placed secondas a team behind University of the Incarnate Word and were laterranked No. 23 in the nation by CollegeSwimming.com…Captured the 1,000 free twice during the dual meet season, firstagainst George Washington on Oct. 26 and then again on Senior Dayat the UMBC Aquatic Complex (Jan. 11) against Howard.

2012-13: Won the silvermedal in the 400-yd. IM and the bronze medal in the 1,650 free atthe America East Championships at Maine… Also placed fifthin the 500 free at the conference meet as the Retrievers won theirninth America East title in ten years… His 400 IM finalstime of 4:00.96 ranks seventh all-time in program history while his1,650 free (15:50.71) ranks ninth… Recorded his top 200 backtime (1:53.16) while finishing in 15th at the ECAC Championships atHarvard… Won three dual meet events as UMBC completed itssecond-ever undefeated season… Named to the America EastHonor Roll.

2011-12: Won the 500-yd. freeat the Terrapin Invitational in a career-best time of 4:38.10...His time ranks tenth in UMBC school history... Also earned afifth-place finish in the 200 back at the meet held at theUniversity of Maryland... Won the 1000 free against Howard for hisfirst dual meet win... Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2010-11: Placed 11th in the500-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational... Swam UMBC'ssecond-fastest 1,000-yard free (9:42.62) of the year at the PatriotInvitational... Named to the America East Honor Roll.

Background: Named All-County,All-Division and All-Section for his sophomore, junior and seniorseasons… Broke his own 500-yard freestyle school record hissenior year… Named 2010 Tappan Zee High School Male Athleteof the Year…  A member of theNational Honor Society and the History Honor Society… An APScholar with Distinction.
