Biography

2011-12: Swam a season-best 1:52.85 while winning the gold medal for the 200-yd. IM at the Patriot Invitational... Finished in 8th in the 200 IM and 13th in the 200 fly as well as the 400 IM at the America East Championships... Also earned a bronze medal at the Patriot Invitational in the 400 IM... Top finish during the dual meet season was second place in the 200 IM at the season-opening meet at Rider.

  

2010-11: Placed fifth in the 200-yard and sixth in the 500-yard freestyle and helped the 800 free relay team place third at the Patriot Invitational... Swam a season-best 200 free (1:43.80) and 500 free (4:38.63) in the event finals at the Patriot Invitational... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

 

2009-10: Swam season-best times in the 500-yard freestyle (4:39.82), 200-yard butterfly (1:56.48) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:09.21) at the America East Championships… Placed 12th in the 500 free and 14th in the 400 IM at the Patriot Invitational… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

 

Background: Earned All-American honors in the 200 IM in 2009… Was a member of the All-Catholic Team in 2006-09… A member of the Pennsylvania All-State Team in the 200 IM in 2009.

 

Personal: Son of Mike and Kim McGee… Has two younger brothers, Tyler and Nick and a younger sister, Lauren… Majoring in information systems… Born Dec. 14, 1990.
