Biography

2022-23 

  • Produced a strong America East Championships’ meet, earning bronze in the 400 IM and finishing fifth in the 200 breaststroke
  • Also placed third in the 200 and 400 individual medleys at the ECAC Winter Championships
  • Edged for first by .06 seconds in the 200 breaststroke at the NJIT Invitational 

2021-22

  • A two-time finalist at the America East Championships, placing fifth in the 200 breaststroke and eighth in the 200 IM
  • Posted a personal best time and earned bronze in the 200 breaststroke at the ECAC Winter Championships
  • Placed second in the 200 breaststroke in meets versus VMI and Towson and at William & Mary

2020-21

  • Captured the 200 breaststroke and placed second in the 100 breast at VMI
  • A finalist (eighth place) in 200 IM and 200 breaststroke (7th) at America East Championships
  • His times in both breaststroke events and the 200 IM were career bests  

BACKGROUND

  • Part of Thomas Dale’s first-ever varsity swimming team in 2017-18
  • A two-time finalist in the 2020 Virginia Swimming Age Group Championships, placing sixth in both breaststroke events
  • Also a two-time finalist in the 2019 Virginia Swimming Long Course Championships, placing fourth in the same events
  • The VHSL 6B Region 2 gold medalist in the 100 breaststroke; also earned bronze in the 200 IM
  • Considering a major in biological sciences
  • Lists favorite book as Crime and Punishment and favorite movie as Parasite
