Biography
2019-20:
- Competed in both butterfly events and the 200 IM at the 2020 ECAC Championships
- Set a personal best with a time of 1:59.81 in the 200 IM
- Recorded the 11th best finals time in the 100 fly at the 2020 America East Championships
- Competed in both fly events and the 200 backstroke in Worcester
- Best finish in the regular season was a sixth-place effort vs. VMI in the 200 fly
BACKGROUND:
Competes in 100 and 200 fly events
Qualified for the Virgina Sectionals in five different events
Was a Sectional finalist in the 100 butterfly and 200 backstroke
PERSONAL:
Son of Jeremy and Joy Gude
Has two younger sisters, Leah and Lila
Currently looking to major in computer science
When not swimming he likes to play on his guitar, listen to Blink-182, and watch the Baltimore Ravens play on Sundays
