  • 5A All-American
  • Scholastic All-American.
  • Majoring in Economics with a career ambition of becoming an airline pilot
  • Son of Caryn and Kristopher Kerkman
  • Has six siblings, including five sisters
  • Mother competed in track & field at SIU
  • Older sister Jenna swam collegiately at Houston
