- A 2023 South Jersey Interscholastic Swimming Association First Team honoree in the100 breaststroke
- Finished sixth in the 200 IM, and eighth in the 100 breast at the 2023 New Jersey Meet of Champions
- A 2023 South Jersey Interscholastic Swim League First Team All-Conference competitor in the 100 breast
- Captured the 2023 Cherry Hill East Swim Team Most Outstanding Swimmer Award
- Named to the 2022 SJISA Second Team in the 200 IM
- Helped the Cougars to three Group A state titles in his tenure
- A member of the Science and Chinese National Honor Societies
- A fan of The Harry Potter series and the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles
- Son of Hung Guo and Rongjia Tao and has an older brother, Henry
