2020-21

• Earned bronze in the 50 and 100 freestyle events at VMI, UMBC’s No. 2 finisher behind Niklas Weigelt in both events

BACKGROUND:  

• A two-time champion at the 2019 PIAA District 4 Championships, capturing the 100 freestyle and 200 IM
• Joined the Maryland Army National Guard to further his education and pursue his passion for swimming
• Considering a major in computer science
• Selected UMBC (because) “the overwhelming care and the professionalism of the staff made UMBC the clear choice”…
• Also lettered in track and field at Lewisburg
• Father, Fred, competed in football at Shippensburg (Pa.) University
• Enjoys working on cars
