2013-14: Recorded a career-best 200-yd.freestyle time of 1:40.48 in the prelims of the event at the ECACChampionships at the Naval Academy… Finished fifth in thenight time finals with a time of 1:40.53… Competed as anexhibition in the 100- and 200-yd. freestyle events, as well as the200 IM, at the CCSA Championships in Knoxville, Tenn. … Tookthe top spot in the 200 free as UMBC opened the season with anexhibition meet at Bucknell on Oct. 5… Achieved his top dualmeet finish of second while competing in the 200 free on Senior Dayas UMBC hosted Howard at the UMBC Aquatic Complex.

2012-13: Earned hisbest dual meet finish, third place, in the 200-yd. butterfly and200-yd. backstroke against Howard, as well as the 200-yd. freestyleagainst East Carolina… Swam his fastest 200 free (1:42.70)at the ECAC Championships at Harvard… Also recorded his top200 IM (1:56.46) swim of the year at the ECAC meet.

2011-12: Swam season-besttimes in three events at the Patriot Invitational... Placedfifth in the 200-yd. free at the invitational at George Mason...Earned a third place finish in the 200 IM (1:56.31) at the TerrapinInvitational... Best dual meet finish was third in the 200 free atHoward.

2010-11: Swam a career-best50-yard freestyle (22.18) at the Terrapin Invitational... Finishedwith season-best times in the 50 breast (20.35), 100 free(44.82) and 200 free (1:37.29) at the TerrapinInvitational.

Background: A transfer from theUniversity of Arizona, Keane redshirted his freshmanyear… Broke three Massachusetts South/Central Sectionalrecords on the way to earning All-Scholastic honors fromthe Boston Globe andthe Boston Herald… A three-time state championin the 100-yard freestyle, 200 free and 200 free relay in2009… Also named All-Scholastic by the BostonHerald in 2008… Qualified for Junior Nationals inthe 100 free and 200 free in 2009… Honored with the JackDempsey award for Boston College High School.
