2010-11: Finished ninth in the 400-yard individual medley, 13th in the 500-yard freestyle and 14th in the 200-yard breaststroke at the Patriot Invitational… Swam career-best times in the 500 free (4:40.67), 200 breast (2:11.33) and 400 IM (4:07.18) at the same meet… Finished second in the 200 free against Rider and against Towson and Maryland… Recognized on the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2009-10: Finished 10th in the 500-yard freestyle, 1,650 free and 400-yard individual medley at the Patriot Invitational… His time of 4:42.51 in the 500 free was a career-best time… Swam career-best times in the 1,650 free (16:24.12) and 400 IM (4:08.90) at the America East Championships… Placed first in the 200 free against Drexel and Howard… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2008-09: Placed eighth in the 200-yard butterfly and 16th in the 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard individual medley at the Patriot Invitational… Highest finish was third in the 500 free against Rider and in the 1,000 free against Bucknell… Swam season-best times in the 200 free (1:45.06), 500 free (4:45.49), 200 fly (1:56.90) and 400 IM (4:14.62) at the Patriot Invitational.

Background: A 26-time YMCA National All-American swimmer… Named Cape Ann League MVP in 2008… Named MVP of the Ipswich High School swim team in 2007 and 2008… Earned North Shore Student-Athlete of the Month in February 2008… Had his best meet at the 2008 YMCA National Swimming and Diving Championships, where he swam his best times in five individual events and four relays. 

Personal: Son of Jean and Alvin Reid… Has one sister, Julia… Majoring in geography with a certificate in geographic information science.
