2016-17: Was a finalist in the 200 fly at the ECAC Championships, earning fifth place with a time of 1:48.59… He won first place in the 200 back, touching in with a time of 1:44.77… In the 400 free relay, helped UMBC win second place, swimming the second leg of the race… He was a three-time finalist in three events at the 2017 CCSA Championships… He placed second in the 200 back with a time of 1:46.06… Also earned second place in the 200 fly, touching in with a time of 1:48.61… Earned fourth place in the 100 back with a time of 49.04… Also swam on the 200 free relay team, taking home third place.

2015-16: Qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 100 fly and 200 IM, earning 20th and 26th place finishes with times of 50.33 and 1:54.28 respectively... Earned gold at the CCSA Championships in the 200 back, finishing in a time of 1:46.81... Finished in eighth in the 200 free with a time of 1:39.36... Also competed in the 200 fly at the championships, finishing ninth in a time of 1:49.25... Won the 200 back at the Dubai International Championships with a time of 2:05.51.

Background: Member of Maadi Sporting and Yacht Club… Broke the Egyptian National record at 18 back in 2014.
