2018: Scored in one of the three races he ran during the year… Scored in the very first meet at the Mount 5k Duals with a time of 16:08.25… Also ran at the Navy Invite (27:35.83) and Paul Short Invite (27.24). 

2017: Middle-distance track athlete competed at Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals.

2016: Competed at Emmitsburg and in the junior varsity race in Annapolis. 

Background: Outstanding middle-distance runner at La Plata… The 2015-16 MPSSAA 2A state indoor champion in the 800m and 1600m and also captured the 800 meters in the outdoor championships… Ran a personal best time of 1:55.0 in the 800 meters… Graduated in the top 10 of his class… A member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society… Considering a major in mechanical engineering… Lists favorite professional sports team as NFL’s Baltimore Ravens and favorite food as chocolate chip cookies… Son of Carrie and Kendall Smith.
