2010: Named America East Second Team All-Conference at No. 2 doubles… Posted a record of 11-12, including a six-match winning streak in the spring… Was 11-11 in doubles competition for the year… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

 

2009: Named Second-Team All-Conference at No. 6 singles… Posted a record of 8-5, including a six-match winning streak in the spring… Was 7-9 in doubles competition for the year.

 

2008:?The lone Retriever to earn all-conference honors in singles... Named to Second Team All America East at No. 6 singles... Posted a 7-2 mark at that slot and won her match in the league semifinals... Led the Retrievers in doubles victories with 12 (12-6) and formed a solid No. 2 squad with classmate Ana Mungo as the Jersey girls notched a 6-3 record.

 

Background:?Majoring in English... A New Jersey state quarter-finalist in both her junoir and senior years at Hillsborough... Helped lead the Raiders to the team championship finals... Also competed in three rounds of the Girls 18’s National Clay Court Tournament in Memphis, Tenn. (2006) and played on the Middle States 16’s Zonals team (2005) in St. Louis, Mo. ... Considered URI and Seton Hall, but selected UMBC “when I?went on my official visit and met all the girls on the team and saw the campus and surroundings”... An accomplished dancer and has performed in a dozen musicals... A member of the National Honor Society... Lists favorite movie as My Cousin Vinny... has an older brother, Casey, age 33... Daughter of Robyn and Danny Mannix... born Dec. 4, 1988.
