Biography

2015-16: She earned a trio of medals at the America East Championships... She finished second in the 50 free with a time of 23.63, a career best time... She also took third in the 100 free (51.57) and fifth in the 200 free (1:50.91), with the 200 free time coming as a new career best... She is part of the school record 200 medley relay team, that set the record at the championships after winning gold. 

2014-15: Placed in three separate events at the 2015 America East Championships, including qualifying for ECAC Championships... At the America East Championships, she won the B finals of the 50 free, touching in with a time of 23.86, her best of the season to that point... Placed seventh in the finals of the 100 free with a time of 1:53.07... Took home first place in the B finals of the 100 free, setting a career best time of 52.17 in the event... At the ECAC meet, she took home 12th in the 100 breast with a time of 1:06.89 and 14th place in the 100 free with a time of 52.47.

2013-14: Placed fourth at the America East Championships with a lifetime-best time in the 200 free (1:52.34)… Also set season-best times in the 100 free (53.37), placing 17th, and in the 500 free (5:05.56), finishing eighth, at the conference championships in Worcester, Mass. … Helped the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 800 free relay capture bronze medals at the America East Championships… Won the 200 free against George Washington, Navy, and Rider… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2012-13: Helped lead the 200-yd. free relay to a gold medal at the America East Championships at Maine… Finished eighth in the 200 free (1:53.60) and 12th in the 100 free (52.97) and 500 free (5:04.91) at the conference meet… Set a season-best time in each of the three events at the America East meet… Won her first career dual meet event by claiming the 50 free against Howard on Nov. 10… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Background: Finished second in the finals of the 50 free  in Montreal to qualify for the Olympic Trials... Also played basketball in high school... Named to the Honor Roll each year.

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Cyndi Langford... Dad played football in college... Has two brothers, Trevor and Will... Plans to major in biology... Born June 14, 1993.
