Biography
2016-17: Set a two career high at the America East Championships… Touched in at 56.48 in the 100 Back, placing second… In the 200 Back, placed third and knocking three seconds off her previous time at the 2016 America East Championships, touching in with a time of 2:01.87... Named to the America East Honor Roll.
2015-16: Earned a spot in the finals of two races at the America East Championships... Finished fifth in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:04.37... Finished the 100 backstroke in seventh place, touching the wall in a time of 57.32... Also earned 12th in the 100 butterfly (57.51) at the championships... Her best time in the 50 free came in Worcester with a time of 25.03.
Background: Member of Islanders Aquatics… Awarded the Sportsmanship award at New York States Championship… Qualified for States all 4 years at St. Anthony’s High School.
Personal: Daughter of Marc Danin and Terri Lukemire… Has five siblings; Marc, Aidan, Sean, Colin and Jake… Lists favorite musical artist as the Beatles… Currently undecided on a major.
