Biography

2014: Made her return from an ACL injury to start in 14 of her 15 appearances… Team captain… Registered a career-best 14 points on nine goals and five assists… Scored a goal in her UMBC debut against nationally-ranked Maryland… Posted her first of two multiple-goal games on the season with a pair of scores versus Temple… Scored three points on a goal and two assists at Columbia and added a season-best three ground balls… Registered a pair of goals against Vermont.

2013: Missed all of the 2013 season due to injury.

PRIOR TO UMBC: Played two seasons for the 2011 and 2012 BIG EAST Champion Loyola... Saw action in 12 games her freshman season with the Greyhounds… Tallied two goals on the year, including her first collegiate goal against Towson… Appeared in five games in her sophomore season after returning from an injury… Tallied one goal on her only shot of the season.

BACKGROUND: Three-year varsity soccer player at McDonogh School… Helped lead McDonogh to a 20-0 record en route to a state championship in 2010… Tabbed as a Baltimore Sun Player to Watch before her senior season… Also competed on the Eagles’ track team for four years… Daughter of Bob and Missy Carpenter… Bob played lacrosse at Washington and Lee University… Has one sister, Megan… Born April 21, 1991… Major is media and communication studies with hopes of working for a media firm.
