2014: Started in a career-high 13 games, posting a 5-6 record in the net… Played a career-most 590:56 minutes in goal and registered 68 saves on the season… Ranked third in the America East and 38th in Division I in goals allowed average (9.34)… Also ranked fourth in the league in save percentage (.425) and fifth in saves per game (5.23)… Pulled in a career-best 20 ground balls, second on the team, and caused one turnover… Posted nine saves and matched a career-high with three ground balls against nationally-ranked Towson... Made nine stops versus La Salle, including two stops on free position attempts in the final 1:30 of the contest, to earn her first victory of the season, 7-6… Earned her first collegiate America East Defensive Player of the Week honor on March 3… Did not allow a goal in 38:32 of action versus Mount St. Mary’s… Faced a career-high 27 shots and made a career-high 10 saves in a 10-8 victory against Columbia... Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2012: Named to the America East All-Conference Second Team and recognized on the America East All-Rookie Team… Earned a spot on the American East All-Championship Team... A two-time America East Defender of the Week (April 16 and March 26)… Appeared in 14 games in net for the Retrievers… Led the league in save percentage (.486)… Allowed 72 goals in 513:09 minutes of action for an 8.42 goals against average – ranking second in the conference… Made starts against Albany, American and in the America East Tournament against Stony Brook… Posted a 5-3 record in goal for UMBC… Accumulated 68 saves and 17 ground balls on the season… Shutout George Mason in 30 minutes of action, recording five saves… Picked up three ground balls against Delaware… Earned a win against then-No.13 Albany in first collegiate start… Stopped a season-high nine shots on two occasions; against Albany and Vermont… Faced a season-high 25 shots versus American, but notched eight saves for the victory.

BACKGROUND: A three-time all-conference and all-state goalkeeper, including two years at Western Guilford High School in Greensboro, N.C…. The A-Team goalie for the Lower Atlantic chapter of the U.S. lacrosse team… Led Coppell High School to the Texas state title in 2010… Also lettered in basketball for two years… An honor roll student and a member of the Beta Club, National Society of High School Scholars and JCL National Honors Society… A distinguished graduate and the Best Female Athlete of JROTC Summer Leadership School… Served as co-commander of the John H. Guyer High School Armed Drill Team… A published poet… Born Dec. 201, 1992… Daughter of Denise Triplett and Todd Barnett… Has a brother, RJ, and four sisters, Megan, Lauren, Allison and Robin… Megan played lacrosse at Ohio State, while RJ played at Army… A pre-nursing major who hopes to work for a pediatric cancer research facility.
