2009: Served as team co-captain… Named to the America East All-Conference First Team, the first Retriever goalkeeper to earn all-conference honors since Amy Jagoda was selected to the All-Northeast Conference second team in 2000… Led the America East and ranked 20th in the NCAA with a .483 save percentage… Also ranked second in the conference and 31st in the nation with 8.41 saves per game and fourth in the league and 32nd in the country with a 10.35 goals-against average… Ranked second on the team with 31 ground balls… Caused 13 turnovers and made 143 saves on the season… Played in all 17 games, starting 16, for a total of more than 886 minutes… Named America East Defender of the Week on March 9 after making 27 saves and allowing just 18 goals in games against Towson and Holy Cross… Tied her career high with 16 saves against the 18th-ranked Tigers… Recorded 11 saves while allowing just four goals against the Crusaders… Earned the award again on April 7 after recording 22 saves and allowing 15 goals in games against Binghamton and New Hampshire… Made nine saves and allowed just four goals against the Bearcats… Stopped 13 shots against the 19th-ranked Wildcats while allowing just two second-half goals… Also picked up a season-high six ground balls against New Hampshire… Tallied 14 saves and caused a season-best three turnovers against 12th-ranked Vanderbilt… Named to the America East All-Academic Team and was recognized on the America East Honor Roll… Named team co-MVP.

2008: Played in 13 games for the Retrievers and made 10 starts, including the last eight… Posted a 13.65 goals-against average in 545:05 of playing time… Recorded 85 saves for a .407 save percentage… Also picked up 16 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers… Posted a record of 2-7 on the season, with wins against Stony Brook and Howard… Posted double-digit saves three times, including a career-high 16 against Johns Hopkins and Boston University… Picked up a season-high three ground balls at New Hampshire and Stony Brook and caused a season-high three turnovers against Yale… Received America East Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2007: Played in 13 games for the Retrievers, starting six… Posted an 11.30 goals-against average in 467:18 of playing time… Recorded 72 saves for a .450 save percentage… Also picked up 18 ground balls and caused six turnovers… Posted a record of 4-3 on the season… Recorded double-digit saves in three straight games, including a career-high 12 against Johns Hopkins and 11 each against Stony Brook and Mount St. Mary’s… Picked up her first career victory against Oregon… Tallied seven ground balls against Stony Brook… Ranked eighth in the America East in save percentage, ninth in goals-against average and 10th in save per game (5.54)… Received America East Academic Honor Roll recognition.

Background: Selected to the All-Baltimore County Second Team and the Towson Times All-Star Second Team in 2006… A team captain who was named MVP of her team in 2006… Earned the U.S. Marine Corp Distinguished Athlete Award as a senior… Selected to the Mid-Atlantic Team, the IAAM A-1 All-Star Team, the All-Baltimore County Second Team, the Towson Times All-Star Second Team and the Elite 300 All-Star team in 2005… Helped lead her team to the National School Girl Tournament championship… Recipient of the Donald Litz Memorial Lacrosse Scholarship… Also lettered in field hockey and helped lead the Lions to the IAAM B Conference co-championship… Earned the Principal’s Leadership Award in 2006 and the Spirit Award in 2005 and 2006… A physical education honorable mention in 2005… Chose UMBC over George Mason and Longwood because of the coaching staff, academics and family-like atmosphere of the team… Parents are Nancy and Walt Quick… Father played golf at the University of Baltimore… Has two older brothers, Walt and Matt… Born April 9, 1988… A psychology major who hopes to become a nurse.
