2016: Named the team’s Most Improved Athlete… Appeared in 43 games behind the plate… Batted .261 with a .308 on base percentage and a .326 slugging percentage… Topped her career-best in batting average (.261), on-base percentage (.308), hits (24), and doubles (6)… Ranked first on the team and third in the America East for sacrifice flies (4)… Reached base three times and scored a run in a 15-4 win at Alabama St. (Feb 21)… Registered two hits and two runs batted in during a 12-3 victory at Hampton (March 16)… Tallied two hits including a double and two runs batted in during a 6-1 win over Siena (March 18)…  Launched a game-winning RBI-double down the right field line at Maine (May 7)… Named to the UMBC Honor Roll

2015: Played in 22 games with 13 starts… Batted a career-best .231… Posted a .256 on-base percentage… Drove in four runs… Batted .500 when leading off an inning… Doubled against UNC Wilmington (Feb. 14)… Knocked in a run in game two of a doubleheader against Lafayette (March 18)… Registered a hit and drove in a run versus UMES (March 25)… Used a sacrifice fly to drive in a run versus South Carolina State (April 17)… Plated a run and scored a run in game one against Towson (April 23)... Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2014: Appeared in 44 games… Registered a .339 slugging percentage… Drove in 17 runs… Went three-for-four with a double and home run to drive in four runs against George Washington (March 27)… Launched the first grand slam of her career in game two versus Howard (April 2)… Added a double against the Bison to finish with five runs batted in.

2013: Made 41 starts and 44 appearances in her rookie campaign… Saw a majority of her action at third base and catcher… Drove in 13 runs… Started at third base in her collegiate debut against Southeastern Louisiana (Feb. 14) and recorded one hit… Chipped in a run with a two-out single to centerfield in a 7-4 victory against Morehead State (Feb. 24)… Drew two walks and followed with an RBI-single versus Morgan State (March 1)… Tabbed a two-run double against Marist (March 11)… Went 4-for-7 with two RBI in day one of the UMBC Spring Classic (March 15)… Singled to drive in a run versus George Mason (March 20)… Went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in against La Salle (April 23)… Drove in two runs in game two against Niagara (May 4)... Named to the America East Honor Roll.

BACKGROUND: Named All-County First Team honors as a catcher by Capital Newspaper at Severna Park High School as a senior… Named to the All-County Second Team as a utility player in her junior season… A member of the Seahawk’s marching band… An honor roll student… Daughter of Diana Reinhart and Anthony Sganga… Has one brother, Johnathan… Major is psychology, with a minor in sociology.
