Biography

2019-20:

  • Selected to the 2020 America East All-Academic Team
  • The 2020 America East Champion in the 100 yard butterfly, setting a personal mark of 48.34
  • Earned a pair of bronzes in the 100 backstroke and 200 butterfly, also recording personal bests in those events
  • Won gold as a part of three victorious relays – the 800 freestyle and 200 and 400 medleys
  • Captured the 100 fly at George Mason and in the early meet versus Delaware and Johns Hopkins
  • Opened the campaign with an impressive victory in the 100 fly versus nationally-ranked Navy

2018-19:

  • Three-time finalist at the America East Championships.
  • Earned a bronze medal in the 200 fly, touching in with a time of 1:50.39.
  • Finished fourth in the 100 back (50.22) and 200 free (1:41.43).
  • Helped the Retrievers reset an America East record in the 400 medley relay in a time of 3:14.68.
  • At East Carolina, finished seventh in the 200 free (1:49.77) and eighth in the 100 fly (54.22).
  • Placed second in the 200 fly against VMI in a time of 1:43.71.
  • At the Patriot Invitational, finished 16th in the 200 back (1:54.69) and 19th in the 100 back (52.36).
  • Finished third in the 100 fly (51.83) and fifth in the 100 back (52.51) and 100 free (48.330 against Towson.
  • In his collegiate debut against Johns Hopkins and Delaware, finished seventh in the 50 free (22.44) and eighth in the 100 back (53.48).
  • Competed at the 2019 Aon New Zealand Open Championship, finishing seventh in the 200 fly, 14th in the 100 fly, and 16th in the 200 free.

  • Two-time finalist at the 2018 New Zealand Age Group Championships in the 100 fly (4th; 57.08) and 200 fly (6th; 2:10.91)
